If you live in Pennsylvania, please contact your state senators and ask them to fully fund public transit. You can also use this 1-click form from Transit For All PA!

Comic Text
My friends are probably tired of hearing me talk about public transit... But my local transit system, SEPTA, is planning to cut service by 45% if they don't get enough state funding at the end of June. Some people say we can't afford to fund transit, but not funding it would be much more expensive, placing a huge additional burden on car infrastructure and devastating the economy. I don't want to own a car, so it's hard for me to imagine a future living in the Philadelphia area with these transit cuts. And other U.S. cities are facing similar issues. Last week I joined my fellow advocates at the state capitol to rally with Transit For All PA! to promote a viable transit funding solution for all of Pennsylvania. Hundreds of people showed up on Wednesday morning to support the campaign! I don't know how this will turn out, but I'm hopeful. I won't stop talking about public transit until... well, ever, but especially until Pennsylvania gets the transit funding we need.

About
A Human-Scaled Journey is a nonfiction comic I created to document my experience learning about sustainable and walkable infrastucture and related ideas. It will include a combination of informative comics and journal-style comics, as well as collaborative comics showing other people's experiences and expertise.
